GAs & RAs invited our church family to collect toiletry items and snack foods for Children's Medical Center Dallas. Over 4,000 items were collected. On Friday, Feb. 6, GAs, RAs & families met to pack 150 toiletry bags, 150 snack bags, make 120 tic tac toe games, and make 200 busy books. We were unable to use scripture or Bible related stories but before we packed the bags, we prayed over each bag that somehow those who received them would come to know that God loves them. We were able to say that the bags were donated by our church and give the GA/RA website. Then on Saturday, Feb. 14, some of our 6th grade GAs delivered the bags and toured Children's Medical Center. FBC Frisco GAs & RAs loved sharing Christ's by putting our love into action!

We took 7 children to 20 senior citizens in our church and handed out carnations with a Valentine Day card and healthy snacks and water. Most of our seniors cried over the expression of love.

Our G.A. group from Inglewood Baptist Church in Grand Prairie took 6
girls and 5 adults to one of the area's nursing homes. The girls made
beautiful Valentine decorations and put them up in the dining area and each of the 171 residents got a Valentine for their lunch tray.
The girls also visited with the residents and sang a song. It was a
wonderful experience for us all to share the love of Christ to these
residents on Valentine's Day.

The GA'S of Northwest Hills Baptist Church of San Antonio, Tx. We did our Childrens Ministries in 2 parts the first we asked our entire church to help us collect toothbrushes and toothpaste to be passed out in our food bank. The second part, we had 5 girls to help to put together goody bags for valentines day and deliver them to the shut-ins of our church family. It was such a blessing to see the children interact with these shut-ins and how blessed the shut-ins felt.

Our Children in Action group elected to collect toothbrushes and toothpaste for children helped through the local county CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) as our CMD ministry project. With the help of our church body and local dentist offices we were able to provide over 110 children's toothbrush & toothpaste packets. As a craft project during our CMD event the children made 18 child-size pillows and our church women of WMU provided 12 blankets. WMU will continue this ministry project and provide CASA with children’s blankets throughout the year. Kathy Watson, Calvary Baptist Church, Bastrop Texas.

Belton, TX - Saturday February 14th
Loving Hearts Project:
Miller Heights Baptist Church had 16 children and 7 adults that participated in Children's Ministry Day. We prepared bags packed full of snacks & goodies for families waiting in the four Intensive Care family waiting rooms. Our group consisted of children and adults from the Children in Action Group, the Children's Ministry Group, and the Sixth Grade Class. Children's Ministry Day scheduling was at the perfect time because we were studying 'local missions'. The project not only included the children, but involved the whole church as members donated money, bottled water, snacks, crayons, and coloring pages for the project.

Our GAs and RAs hosted a Valentine's Banquet for our church. We had 75 attend. The GAs and RAs were the servers for the evening. The banquet was followed by a style show planned by the GAs and RAs. It was a great evening.
As our project for the month, we asked our church to bring items for a homeless packet. We will now sort the items and then distribute them to different agencies throughout our city (Austin, Texas). Our church overwhelmed us with their support of this project.
